Hi and welcome to my site. Ive been travelling all of my life and its pretty much all I know how to do well. I have travelled extensively all over Europe and recently started to visit parts of Latin America and Africa. Last summer I had the chance to experience what it is to travel in the mountains of the Andes in South America, a place that none of us will ever forget. That trip was amazing, but that is not my only experience.
I have lived in South Korea for 2 years, travelled all over Japan, China and many other countries around Asia. Ive hiked through the canyons of Zion National Park and am currently planning yet another World Cup adventure through Asia to watch friend’s play soccer on one continent, while watching the World Cup on another continent.
While travelling I have the opportunity to buy and test lots of travel related kit, including cameras, lens, hiking back-packs, solar charges and other travel related tech. I have been writing about my travels and testing travel gear for over 10 years, but didn’t really think about doing it for a living until after a trip to Nepal.
Nepal taught me many things including that this beautiful world is not as safe or secure as I used to think. Luckily we came back to Canada unharmed, but the experience made me realize that I need to do something with the skills, knowledge and experiences that I have gained through all my travels. So here I am now, living in Canada while exploring other parts of the world and sharing my experiences on this site.
I have a keen interest in things hiking and a particular fondness for mountaineering and high altitude extreme sports, which is why my blog, Go Hey Travel , is dedicated to the hiking lifestyle.
I like to think that my site is different than most other travel blogs out there, not only because I try to provide the best information on mobile devices and the Internet, but also because I try to provide valuable resource and links to interesting sites relating to my different travel destinations. Most of all for me, travelling is about seeing this beautiful world get better and more peaceful place both for its inhabitants and for other travellers just like myself.
I have been fortunate enough over the past 10 years of travel to have visited many of Canada’s national parks and its one of my most favourite places to travel.
Thanks for taking the time to drop by and if you like what you read then please remember to come back often and share with your friends.
